Arild Oppheim: Project Engineer - Technical Sales

We are pleased to welcome our latest addition to the team, Arild Oppheim, who joins us as Project Engineer – Technical Sales.

With more than 20 years in the oil and gas industry, Arild Oppheim brings a valuable combination of engineering depth and commercial understanding to Ace Well Technology’s technical sales team.

A petroleum engineer by training, Arild began his career in completions with Weatherford and later Fishbones, working closely with Equinor and other leading North Sea operators. Over the years, he’s developed a strong understanding of the challenges operators face at the wellsite - knowledge that now underpins his role at Ace.

“At Ace, we don’t just sell equipment. We work with customers to engineer the right solution for their specific well,” says Arild.

“And me having an engineering background helps bridge that conversation between design intent and real-world performance.”

Arild’s main focus at Ace is the Ace Control Line Clamp (ACLC), a system that automates the installation of control lines during completion. The ACLC reduces red-zone exposure and shortens installation time, making operations both safer and more efficient.

When you automate one of the most risk-prone steps in completions, you immediately improve safety and consistency. With Ace’s growing global footprint, Arild plays a key role in helping operators implement new solutions that improve performance and safety standards across the board.

Ace Well Technology’s culture is built around close collaboration, something Arild values deeply. We’re a small, dedicated team of about 20 people between the office and the workshop - all united in our goal to provide innovative solutions to our valued customers.
